Our pens are designed to last a long time. They are made from durable plastic, and the construction is sound. They can last for years and take a lot of rough handling, but there are limits. If you accidentally drive your car over our a Pump Pen, it will usually keep working. This is not a guarantee that you can always drive a car over the pen and not damage it - it is just one example of rough treatment we heard from a customer.
If you damage your Pump Pen or you lose a part, you can order replacements parts - you do not have to purchase a complete pen. Our Pump Pens are built around a modular design, and all parts can be replaced easily.
We charge a nominal price for replacement parts. Clips and reservoirs are free. Other parts are approximately one third the cost of the pen since there are three basic parts to the Pump Pen - the barrel, the cap and the body.
