Crowquill nibs have been popular for a very time, and come in a variety of sizes and shapes. This is a very flexible nib, and looks like a crow's quill or toe nail. The crowquill was designed for artists, and is very popular with fine artists, illustrators, comic book artists and embellishers.

The Crowquill Nib Unit is shipped with our Perfect Fit Ink Feed, which lets you use crowquill nibs and forget about dipping the nib. Our feed is matched precisely to the crowquill nib and delivers the ink or paint directly to the nib for a clean and accurate flow. This lets you draw without dipping.

This Nib Unit also accepts the most popular crowquills, including those made by Hunt and Deleter. If you want to use a crowquill with a different diameter, please tell us and we can provide the proper Nib Unit.

This Nib Unit fits into the Pump Pen for Standard Nibs. You can insert all Nib Units into this pen, however, it is especially suited for nibs as thin as the crowquill to as large as the Leonardt Principal, Hunt 22, 99 and 100 nibs.

Use any ink or paint - if it flows, it will work in the Pump Pen. India ink, acrylic paint, gouache and watercolor - they all work. And nothing sticks. You can flush the pen with warm tap water. If ink or paint does dry out in the pen, you can remove it easily.

Gravity flow works most of the time, but when you want a stronger flow, press the pump - you get what you press, from a drop to a gush.

The large reservoir lets you work away from your bottle of ink and not worry about running out. You can order extra reservoirs with caps to carry replacement ink or paint.

Easy to clean, hard to plug up, and fun to use, the Pump Pen is ideal for anyone who draws, sketches, paints and letter using fine hand control.
