This Pump Pen contains a crowquill nib and feeds ink or paint to the nib like a fountain pen.
The crowquill nib is popular with artists and illustrators for its very fine line and somewhat flexible tip, which gives a good variation in line width. This nib is usually used in flourishing, ornamental penmanship and other pen work that requires fine details.
You can insert all other Pump Pen sections into this pen, including all dip nib and brush sections.
Use any ink or paint - if it flows, it will work in the Pump Pen. India ink, acrylic paint, gouache and watercolor - they all work. And nothing sticks. You can flush the pen with warm tap water. If ink or paint does dry out in the pen, you can remove it easily.
Gravity flow works most of the time, but when you want a stronger flow, press the pump - you get what you press, from a drop to a gush.
The large reservoir lets you work away from your bottle of ink and not worry about running out. To fill the pen, stick the tip into a bottle of ink or paint, twist the knob several times and voila! - the pen is filled.
Easy to clean, hard to plug up, and fun to use, the Pump Pen is ideal for anyone who draws, sketches, paints and letter using fine hand control.
