The Double Ended Pump Pen holds two tools - one in each end - thus giving you double the benefits.
Use a brush and nib to draw lines with one end, brush on wash with the other. Two nibs also work – draw lines with one end, letter with the other. Great for calligraphy. Or use two brushes – draw with one brush, wash with the other.
Spin the pen in your hand – the pumps are offset to ensure that the pump will end up right where you press it after spinning the pen.
When capped on both ends, this can be an odd-looking pen. It measures 19 cm or 7.5 inches long, too long for some pockets, but it is a pen, and you can carry it around, and it is remarkably handy.
The reservoir provides separated containers so you can use two different inks or paints in the same pen. This is suitable for when you want to draw with full color ink and use a dilute solution for washing.

If you buy this pen, you might be interested in an addtional item - the section plug. This is designed to replace the section in any Pump Pen and plug up the open end. Just stick it into the open end, and you get two benefits - no ink or paint will spill out, and nothing will crawl into the reservoir. This item is not necessary if you have enough sections for the Double Ended Pump Pen, but if you like to switch and swap sections between several Pump Pens, you might end up with one or more open ends that you would like to protect.
