Osmiroid nibs are favorites with calligraphers and artists. Although the company went out of business over a decade ago, the nibs and pens are still used and traded.
We provide two types of Osmiroid Pump Pens - one for screw-In Osmiroid nib units, the other for individual Osmiroid nibs. You must specify the type you want.
Note Pump Pens for Osmiroid screw-in nibs are not shipped with a nib/feed unit because there is no reliable supply of these units. Pump Pens for Osmiroid individual nibs are shipped with a B-3 nib. This is not one of the more popular nibs, but it is only one we can obtain in quantity. You must already have the Osmiroid nib you want to use. Many sources claim older versions of the Esterbrook screw-in nibs are identical to Osmiroid screw-in nibs, so you can use these nibs as well.
The Osmiroid Pump Pen for individual nibs is shipped with our Perfect Fit Ink Feed, which lets you use any Osmiroid nib. Our specialized feed is matched precisely to the Osmiroid nib, and delivers the ink or paint directly to the nib for a clean and accurate flow. This lets you letter and draw without dipping.
Use any ink or paint - if it flows, it will work in the Pump Pen. India ink, acrylic paint, gouache and watercolor - they all work. And nothing sticks. You can flush the pen with warm tap water. If ink or paint does dry out in the pen, you can remove it easily.
Gravity flow works most of the time, but when you want a stronger flow, press the pump - you get what you press, from a drop to a gush.
The large reservoir lets you work away from your bottle of ink and not worry about running out. You can order extra reservoirs with caps to carry replacement ink or paint.
Easy to clean, hard to plug up, and fun to use, the Pump Pen is ideal for anyone who draws, sketches, paints and letters using artistic media, and who wants fine hand control.
