Pump Pens provide the following advantages:

Press the pump when you want more - you get what you press, from a drop to a gush. Every Pump Pen has one pump on the side. The Single Ended Pump Pen has two pumps - one on the side, another on the back.
Clean the pen easily - just flush it with warm water.
Use any popular dip nib or the brush we provide - they all fit into every Pump Pen. You can also use nibs of similar sizes and shapes as those listed on our web site.
Fill the pen easily. For the Single Ended Pump Pen, stick the front of the pen into a bottle of ink or paint and twist or press the end knob. For the Double Ended Pump Pen, use an eye dropper.

Adjust the cap to suit the length of the nib - reduce the exposure of air to the wet nib
Twist the cap clip to hide or expose the vent. Closed vent protects against leakage. Open vent relieves pressure or vacuum.
