Nib Units provide the nib and feed for our Nib Pump Pens. Each Nib Unit contains a dip nib and the matching Perfect Fit ink, which are held together by a section. Nib Units are designed to fit into the front of the Nib Pump Pen. You can press them in and pull them out easily.
There are two types of Nib Pump Pens - the the Pump Pen for Standard Nibs for small to medium size dip nibs, and Pump Pen for Large Nibs. The two Pump Pens are similar in size and shape - they both accept all nib units.
The only difference is that the size of the cap on the Pump Pen for Large Nibs has a deeper cavity. This permits you to cap the pen with a large dip nib in place and not risk bending the tip. You can put a standard or small size nib into the Pump Pen for Large nibs, and they will work very well. There is a tendency for the nib to dry out quickly inside the extra large cap.
You can remove and replace nibs in all Nib Units. You can also disassemble a Nib Unit to clean it, then re-assemble it easily.
